to a surgery, I was unable to attend graduation and the end of the

I have enjoyed my 5 years at Northlawn!
is my favorite time of year. I love all of the beautiful decorations
and of course all of the holiday treats. For some it is a difficult
time. I am working very hard to teach students about caring for others
and giving to others. We have been focusing on fundraising and buying
groceries for families during the holidays. We are also starting a can
food drive this week. Students are helping to decorate our school
We have great kids at Northlawn and it is wonderful to see them reach out doing kind things for others.

Saving Time Ends on Sunday. (Fall Back). We had our Halloween Dance on
Monday and it was a great success. Students had a lot of fun and
behavior was wonderful. For our Prowl A Thon, we have raised over $400
and are looking forward to buying gifts for Kimes students and
Thanksgiving meals for families in need.
new school year has started off very well. I am excited to have such a
great group of fifth graders join us. This Friday we will be having our

they can do when their behavior is good and they follow school
expectations.Safety, Respect, Responsibility and being Ready to learn

consequence them. I'm looking forward to a great year!
is hard to believe that July is almost here. Mr. Ahearn, Mrs. Martin,
and the custodial staff have been hard at work preparing for the new

lessons for the start of school. Everyone needs a little bit of a break,
but we are excited for you to return. I am also eager to get to know
our new fifth graders. Enjoy the rest of your summer break.
